Reminder: Health Guidelines

7th Sep 2020

As we all try and keep everyone safe and well, we ask that you keep your child at home if he/she is feeling unwell. If your child feels unwell but their temperature is less than 37.8, monitor at home for 48 hours until symptoms have passed. If your child has a rash or a stomach bug (vomiting/diarrhoea), he/she must not attend school until 48 hours after symptoms clear.

If your child has COVID 19 symptoms; a new or continuous cough, a high temperature/fever and/or a loss or change in taste and smell they must not attend school until the required period has lapsed or a negative result has been obtained. If someone within the household has a positive result, everyone in that household have to self-isolate for 14 days. If you're unsure, contact your GP/PHA for advice.

We all want to ensure that we remain at school, everyone at home and at school therefore have to strictly adhere to the guidance  provided by the PHA. This is for all of our benefit.

Each class is seen as a protective bubble and we are doing our utmost in school to ensure that bubbles don't mix. This is to minimise the risk of COVID transmission.

It we have a case in school, all members of that protective bubble including staff will have to self-isolate for 14 days.  We ask for your continued support in keeping everyone safe.
